Beautiful Vending ▪ Hair Straightener
Requirement
Beautiful Vending supply revolutionary ‘hair straightening vending machines’ to clubs, bars, gyms and shopping centres. Although mainly used in toilets, Beautiful Vending also wanted to increase their market and install their products in premises such as high end Hotel chains, and they approached Shore Design to design their new range of products.
Development
The initial task was to produce the optimum user interface and product safety aspects in parallel to the concept generation of multiple design solutions which were generated in sketch form. Following review & selection of concepts, the design was refined to focus on the finer aesthetics detailing particularly around the focal ‘single function’ button.
The design progressed into 3D CAD for both photo realistic renderings for marketing, plus full mechanical development and electronic integration. Shore procured all mechanical verification prototypes and assisted in the set up and management of the mass production manufacturing supply chain.
