Electrak ▪ Power Distribution & Lighting Systems

Requirement

Electrak is a well established market leading manufacturer and supplier of power distribution and lighting control systems. Over the past 5 years, Shore has worked with Electrak in many new developments including: floor boxes, floor grommets and power tracks. More recently Shore worked with Electrak in the development of their patented innovative ‘Intersoc’; a multi-socket under desk and desktop modular desk system.

Development

The development programs have varied from updating existing products for regulatory purposes, all the way up to full product developments. On the larger developments, Shore have created innovative product architecture and concepts, leading to world beating 16/32A interconnect systems compliant with very demanding regulatory regulations and standards.

In conjunction with Electrak, the designs progressed into full mechanical development in 3D CAD and integration of the electronics. Shore procured all mechanical verification prototypes, we also assisted in the production & support of all plastics injection mould tooling.

Result

Multiple product platforms now successfully launched and installed in many well established institutions including the BBC, BAA, Financial Times and distributed worldwide to counties including: China, India, Qatar, Singapore, AUE as well as many others.
