At this stage a small number of concepts will have been selected for development. Shore's industrial designers refine these ideas through hand sketches, preliminary CAD models, sketch models made in our workshop and 2D and 3D renderings.
Through a process of refinement and evaluation together with the client, the range of concepts will usually be narrowed to one or two. As part of this evaluation process concept models will be made and when possible, tested with actual end users.
Product architecture is usually defined at this stage and designers focus on detail design so that a very good picture of the product as it will be in production can be created.
