Design for manufacture can range from aspects such as correct material selection for process and cost, understanding manufacture and assembly strategy, or part design to maximise performance while minimising weight & manufacturing cycle time.
We can minmise assembly time by designing components that do not require fastenings, with location controlled by part geometry. We also design to suit the WEEE directive, which focusses on the ability to dissaemble products at the end of their life.
